Senior leaders & star campaigners of all political parties hold public meetings & rallies to woo voters for Meghalaya Assembly Elections
Feb 18, 2023In the poll bound Meghalaya , campaigning has reached a feverish pitch, with star campaigners of all political parties are holding back to back public meetings and rallies in the state. Polling will be held on 27th February on all 60 assembly seats.
Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is holding a public meeting in Ranikor assembly constituency in South West Khasi Hills area. On the other hand, BJP leader and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma are conducting election rallies in Mahendraganj and Salmanpara assembly constituencies in South West Garo Hills region.
Trinamool Congress leader and party star campaigner Abhishek Banerjee and Derek O Brien are camping in the East Khashi Hills region. Mr. Banerjee is holding a public meeting at Umlyngka in the Mylliem assembly segment while former Chief Minister Mukul Sangma addressed public meetings at Shella and Mawhati to garner support for TMC candidates.
Senior NPP leader and Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma addressed public meetings in the Nongthymmai assembly segment where he claimed that the party has immense support of the people and it is going to win with an absolute majority.
