CM Dr Manik Saha calls for ensuring quality education


Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Friday attended the event of 75 years of Agartala Prachya Bharti Higher Secondary School and called for ensuring quality education and enhance the education sector of the state.

Addressing the gathering of students, the Chief Minister said, “Government has given utmost importance in rendering quality education and as part of this the government has taken various initiatives to explore the talents of students.”

“Along with studies, students should be encouraged in literature, culture and creative work. Only then the education of the students will be able to shine in their career,” he said, adding that let the intellectual resources of the state be used to ensure quality education for students.

The Chief Minister said that the state government has planned to modernize at least 400 government schools under PM Shri and Vidyajyoti schemes. “Government will spend two thousand crore rupees in the next five years for the development of the education infrastructure of the state,” he said.
