PM Narendra Modi says, opposition parties' alliance's aim is to throw out his government, while BJP’s aim is to create bright future for country


Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that opposition parties alliance's aim is to throw out his government, while BJP’s aim is to create a bright future for the country. Mr. Modi stated this while addressing the BJP Parliamentary party meeting in New Delhi today. Talking to the media after the meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi quoted Mr. Modi as saying that BJP will work for the development of the country.

Talking about the Lok Sabha security breach issue, Mr. Joshi informed that the Prime Minister said, everyone believing in democracy should have condemned the security breach. The Prime Minister said, some parties in a way supporting this action which is as dangerous as breach itself. Mr. Modi also criticized the opposition for disruption in Parliament saying they are rattled by the defeat in the recent assembly polls.

Meanwhile opposition parties today staged a protest in Parliament House complex over suspension of MPs as well as Lok Sabha security breach issue. Members from Congress, DMK, TMC, Left, RJD, JD(U), Samajwadi Party, NCP, JMM and others joined the protest. Talking to the media, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge attacked the government over the issues. He said, suspension of MPs is not good for democracy.

Samajwadi Party leader Prof. Ramgopal Yadav also questioned the government over the suspension of MPs. Earlier, the floor leaders of I.N.D.I.A alliance parties held a meeting in Parliament House complex to chalk out their strategies.
