PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme most popular than 80’s Ramayana & Mahabharata: CM Dr Manik Saha

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Sunday joined the 108th broadcast of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann KI Baat’ programme and claimed that the programme is more popular than that of 80’s Ramayana and Mahabharat television shows.

The Chief Minister along with the ruling BJP leaders and workers on Sunday listened to the Mann Ki Baat programme here at Agartala Town Bardowali constituency.

The Chief Minister said, “Earlier our mothers and sisters used to eagerly wait to watch Ramayana and Mahabharat television shows, but now we see our mothers and sisters rushing to listen to PM's Mann Ki Baat on the last Sunday of every month.”

Speaking about PM Modi’s declaration of “four castes”—poor, women, youths and farmers, Saha said, “Caste politics happened in some states earlier, but the recent Assembly poll results in three states have shown that there is no place for casteism. For Modiji, the four castes are poor, women, youths and farmers. If these four castes are developed, the country will be developed.”
