CM Dr Manik Saha chairs review meeting to check post flood relief work
Sep 11, 2024Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Wednesday chaired a meeting with the high officials here at Agartala Secretariat office to review the post flood relief work by the departments.
“I was briefed in detail about the extent of the damage and the current status of recovery in each department. It is critical that we take swift and coordinated action to help those affected by the floods,” Dr Saha stated in his social media handle.
He further stated that the meeting laid emphasis on the key areas requiring immediate attention, including reconstruction of damaged roads, reconstruction of damaged houses, uninterrupted power transport, ensuring good health, provision of drinking water, assistance to farmers, distribution of duty free ration items, distribution of textbooks, assistance to construction workers and others.
