RNYOM calls off ban on national projects
Nov 12, 2023The Rongmei Naga Youth Organisation, Manipur (RNYOM) has decided to call off its ban on NH 37 and other National Projects. The RNYOM had resolved to call for banning of NH 37 and other National Projects on the matter of internet ban in Manipur’s Naga inhabited areas from the midnight of October 31 in the interest of the Rongmei Naga people.
Since the state government had partially restored internet in the areas, the organisation in its Executives Meeting held on November 10 called off the agitation with immediate effect and appreciated the volunteers and public for their co-operation, the media cell of the RNYOM stated in a release on Friday.
