TRTC’s 2 separate bus services from Agartala to Khowai, Sabroom flagged off
Feb 25, 2022Agartala, Feb 25: Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Friday flagged off the Tripura Road Transport Corporation Limited (TRTC’s) two separate Air-Conditioned buses connecting Agartala with Khowai and Sabroom on Friday. Tripura transport minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Managing Director of the TRTC Er. Rajesh Kumar Das and the officials of the TRTC and Tripura Urban Transport Company Limited (TUTCL) were present in the inaugural programme.
The Chief Minister also launched two different official websites and logos of the TRTC and TUTCL. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb today launched the digital PhonePe app tagged to the newly launched buses which perhaps is the first of its kind in North-East India. Along with having an option to book their tickets online, passengers travelling to Khowai and Sabroom from Agartala can also pay for their tickets via the PhonePe app.
Deb said, “This is the first time that such an innovative idea has been implemented in the state. Our policies are in line with the clarion call of PM Narendra Modi.”The TRTC today also organised a blood donation camp. The Chief Minister visited the camp and talked to the donors and the officials of the TRTC.
