Nadda to launch BJP’s campaign train Tripura on Feb 3 for Assembly Poll


The Bharatiya Janata Party’s National President J P Nadda is all set to launch the party’s campaign train in the state of Tripura on February 3 for the election to 60-asembly constituencies of the state.

The BJP has fielded candidates in 55 seats and has left five seats for its ally IPFT for the crucial election to the 60-member Tripura Assembly scheduled to be held on February 16.

Nadda is scheduled to address two election rallies at Kumarghat in Unakoti district and Amarpur in Gomati district of the state in favour of party candidates on February 3.

Besides, Union Minister Smriti Irani, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, opposition leader in West Bengal Assembly, Suvendu Adhikari and several party leaders from Bengal among other star campaigners including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will join the party campaign soon.

On the other hand, the opposition Congress and the Trinamool Congress party are making the deck ready to welcome the parties’ star campaigners here in the state.
