PM Modi addresses Uttar Pradesh Rojgar Mela; says double engine govt is attaching high priority to development project in State


Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed the Rozgar Mela of Uttar Pradesh Government via a video message. He said the double engine government is attaching high priority to development project in the state.

In the Mela, appointment letters were provided to direct recruits for Sub Inspectors in UP Police and equivalent posts in Nagrik Police, Platoon Commanders and Fire Department Second Officers. CM Yogi Adityanath also graced the event.

Highlighting the special importance of the UP Rozgar Mela today, the Prime Minister said that this will bring happiness to nine thousand families and will enhance the sense of security in Uttar Pradesh as the new recruitments will strengthen the Police force in the state.

PM Modi emphasized that today, Uttar Pradesh is recognized for its law and order. This, has led to new opportunities of employment, business and investment.

Highlighting the efforts of the double-engine government, the PM said that new airports, new defence corridor, new mobile manufacturing units, modern waterways, a new infrastructure are bringing in unprecedented employment opportunities. He said that UP has the most number of expressways and highways are being developed constantly.

CM Yogi Adityanath said that in last six years, our government has been able to accommodate and provide jobs to 5.50 lakh youth in the state. CM added that we have completed the process of more than 1.60 lakh appointments in a transparent manner only within the Uttar Pradesh Police Force.

CM Yogi congratulated all the newly selected 9,055 youths for becoming an integral part of the world's largest civil police force and said that the training capacity of the Uttar Pradesh Police Force was only 6 thousand in the year 2017, we have been able to almost triple it.
