Govt has given priority to develop education system in Tripura: CM Dr. Manik Saha


The BJP-led Tripura government is working sincerely towards overall development of the Education system in our state. Priority has been given to provide quality education to the students of the state through the development of educational infrastructure, said chief minister Dr. Manik Saha while addressing in a programme organized by the Bhavan's Tripura Vidyamandir to mark its Foundation Day & Gandhi Jayanti at Narsingarh on Monday.

The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi often says that those who have knowledge will have the world in their hands, the central government under the leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working to take the country forward in various fields including the education sector. Recently, the overall development of our country has been praised in the G-20 Summit. The state government is also implementing various programs giving importance to education. Chief Minister urged the parents to have confidence in the education system of the educational institutions without increasing the inclination of their children towards private tuition.

He also asserted that his government has been working on enhancing opportunities in higher education so that students do not need to go outside the state to pursue higher studies. He also urged students to be attentive in classrooms and participate in discussions, debates and other co-curricular activities.

Tripura government has been giving more important for the development of the education sector and the main goal of Tripura government to offer such environment to student that may help students to get the opportunity to qualify national level competitive exams, he added.

Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder, Director of Bhavan's Tripura Vidyamandir GB Subramaniam, Principal Swapna Som, Chairman Debashish Chakraborty and others were present.
