CM Dr Manik Saha welcomes freshers of Maharaja Bir Bikram Memorial College
Dec 18, 2023Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Monday attended the welcome ceremony of freshers of Maharaja Bir Bikram Memorial College here at Agartala Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan and said that there is a need to ensure study of values for the students who are able to play a key role in building ‘Ek Tripura Srestha Tripura’.
Addressing the gathering of students and faculties of the Agartala BBM College, the Chief Minister Dr Saha said that after assuming office in 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been working on various plans to radically change the country's education system.
A new national education policy has been formulated in the country after a long time under the guidance of the Prime Minister, he said, adding that the policy has been implemented in the educational institutions of the state to ensure better learning for the students.
Dr Saha urged upon the teachers and faculties of various educational institutions of the state to sensitize their students about the significance of this New National Education Policy.
