CM Dr Manik Saha inaugurates 50-bedded filed hospital in Amarpur


Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Friday inaugurated the newly constructed 50-bedded Filed Hospital in Amarpur sub-division and said that the government is contemplating to build a medical hub in the state of Tripura.

Addressing the gathering in the inauguration programme, the Chief Minister Dr Saha said, “The present government has made sincere efforts to provide better health services in the state. Accordingly, priority has been given to construction of infrastructure and provision of better health services in various marginal towns of the state.”

Dr Saha, who also holds the health portfolio, said that the foreign investors have shown their interest to invest in the medical services of the state.

“Quality of health services at District, Sub-Division, Primary Health Centers and Social Health Centers is being improved. 4.75 lakh families who are excluded from Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana will be brought under Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana,” he claimed.

He said, “Dental and nursing colleges have been started in the state. Moreover, various plans have been taken for the development of communication, education, agriculture and agriculture related sectors and industries.”
