Only TMC can oust BJP govt; Mamata Banerjee

Democracy is in a bad shape in the state, and our leaders and members became subjects of torture for protesting against such misdeeds," said West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee while addressing a public rally at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan on Tuesday.
Mamata Banerjee said Tripura is my second home. I will try by level best to develop it in every sector. BJP’s atrocities and undemocratic activities were at their peak during 2021, TMC had stood with the people and prevented the “fascist” rule of the saffron party, she added.

I know Tripura very closely and feel it is my home. The people of West Bengal and Tripura speak the same language, have similar food habits and wear the same outfits. So, I want the people of Tripura to get the benefits like West Bengal,” she said.
Trinamool Congress national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee, MP Sushmita Deb, Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Observer Rajeev Banerjee, Tripura Pradesh Trinamool President Piyush Kanti Biswas and other leaders were also present in the rally.
