Apr 10, 2024In a heartfelt gesture, Assam Rifles extended its condolences to the family of Rifleman/ GD (Late) Alok Rao, SC, who bravely sacrificed his life in the line of duty, protecting the people of Manipur amidst turmoil on 10 May 2023.
Representatives from Assam Rifles visited the hometown of the brave soldier to engage with his family. Following a compassionate exchange, the Assam Rifles presented the grieving family with a Washing Machine as a token of support during their time of loss.
Deeply touched by the gesture, the family of the courageous soldier expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Assam Rifles authorities for their kindness and support during this difficult period.
