Govt finding all possibilities to ensure industrial growth: CM Dr. Manik Saha


Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Friday inaugurated “Yuba Tripura, Natun Tripura, Atmanirbhar Tripura", an initiative of Tripura Industrial Development Corporation to encourage and support the Yuba Shakti towards setting up industrial units and said that the government is finding out all possibilities for growth of industries in the state.

“The state is well equipped with a developed communication system, which is the prime requirement of attracting industries in the state. The industrialists from outside the state and abroad are keen on investing in Tripura and setting up their industries, which perhaps will ensure employment generation for the youths of our state,” Dr. Saha said.

The Chief Minister appreciated Tripura Industrial Development Corporation's Yuva Tripura, New Tripura and Atmanirbhar Tripura programs for 100 youths from each district to gain experience and encourage them to visit industrial cities in the state.

The Chief Minister also launched a new bamboo-based industry at R.K. Nagar industrial area and said that setting up of more industries in Tripura will not only ensure employment generation, it will also boost the state’s economy.

He also released a booklet containing information regarding various Swanirbhar schemes of the Central and State governments.

Minister for Industries and Commerce Santana Chakma, Chairman of Tripura Industrial Development Corporation Nabadal Banik, Principal Secretary of Industries and Commerce department S.K. Sethi, Director of Viswashree B., and other dignitaries were present.
