Women gives birth to conjoined twins


In a remarkable event at Gomati district hospital in Udaipur on Tuesday a women has given birth to conjoined twins (girls), bringing awe and hope to the medical community.

It was reported that a 25-year old expectant mother named Revati Reang was admitted in Gomati district hospital in Udaipur on May 26. According to Gynaecologist and hospital superintendent Dr. Kajal Das today Revati Reang gave birth to conjoined twins (girls) through caesarean procedure. One in 50,000 to 60,000 such cases are seen. The newborn twins are currently receiving specialized medical care as experts diligently work towards ensuring their well-being, Dr. Kajal Das added.
