Minister Tinku Roy meets Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya

Tripura’s Minister for Youth Affairs, Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education, and Labour, Tinku Roy, met Union Minister for Labour & Employment and Youth Affairs & Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, in New Delhi on Friday to discuss key areas of collaboration aimed at strengthening youth development, promoting sports, and improving labour welfare in Tripura.
During the meeting, the two leaders held an in-depth discussion on the central government’s ongoing initiatives and how they can be effectively implemented at the state level. Minister Roy highlighted the need for greater support in infrastructure development, capacity building, and welfare schemes tailored to the unique needs of Tripura’s youth and labour force.
Dr. Mandaviya offered valuable insights and assured continued cooperation from the Centre to help accelerate inclusive growth in the region. The Union Minister emphasized the importance of empowering young people and strengthening social welfare frameworks as a means to drive long-term development.
Speaking after the meeting, Tinku Roy expressed his gratitude for the Union Minister’s guidance and encouragement. “This discussion has been immensely productive. With Dr. Mandaviya’s support, I am confident that Tripura will witness faster and more inclusive progress across youth affairs, sports, and labour welfare,” he said.
