Tripura Govt orders action against teachers engaged in private tuition
May 20, 2023Expressing concern over the report of government teachers engaged in private tuition, the government had ordered enquiry and action against those teachers.
The directorate of school is dictation in its memorandum on Friday last stated, “It is observed that some teachers of the Govt. and Govt. aided Schools are engaging themselves in private tuition or private teaching activity which has been prohibited vide instructions issued from time to time from this end.”
“It is a matter of great concern that some teachers are reported to have been awfully busy with private tuition violating the instructions of the Department. This is a painful state of affairs,” the memo stated.
The department however instructed the District Education Officers to enquire the matter through different officers posted in the concerned districts under their disposal and to take appropriate action against the teachers found engaging themselves in the Private Tuition with intimation to this directorate.
