‘Swachh Bharat’ is a shared responsibility: MP Biplab Kumar Deb

“Swachh Bharat is a shared responsibility, and every effort counts,” said Member of Parliament and former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Wednesday while participating in a cleanliness drive as a part of Har Ghar Tiranga campaign at Anandamoyi Kali Bari in AD nagar area.
He also stressed that cleanliness has its own importance in everyone's life, adding that the 'Swachh Bharat Mission' has now become a success across the globe.
Member of Parliament and former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb urged to everyone that it was their duty to keep the premises tidy at all times. “We can achieve the target (of a Clean India) if each of the countrymen come together,” Biplab said.
He also said that the success of the Clean India Campaign is the success of the people of the country. Biplab said that while India had come a long way since the campaign began, still a lot remained to be done before the Clean India target could be achieved.
Highlighting the power of collective action, Member of Parliament and former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said programmes like Swachh Bharat have become successful because of the efforts of the common man.
