117 voters from 33 families joined Congress


Bharatiya Janata Party looses their power in Bamutia area. Atleast one hundred and seventeen voters joined Congress from various parties including Bharatiya Janata Party in a meeting of Youth Congress before the Assembly elections. Political parties have entered the fray. Various political parties and their affiliates have emphasized on increasing their organizational strength. The Pradesh Congress is not far behind. Various branches of the Congress, especially the Youth Congress, have entered the fray. The leaders emphasize organizational strength.

This time the Youth Congress focused on increasing the organization in Bamutia. Congress was broken the strength of BJP in Bamutia. An organizational meeting was held at Kali Bazar in Bamutia assembly constituency on Sunday. In this meeting of Youth Congress, 117 voters from 33 families left various parties including the Bharatiya Janata Party and joined the Congress. Youth Congress leader Shahjahan Mia and other leaders welcomed them. Biplab Biswas was elected as the president of Bamutia Block Youth Congress from the organizational meeting of the day. The presence of activist supporters in the meeting was remarkable.
