Significant change in club culture in Tripura: MP Rajib Bhattacharjee
Feb 16, 2025The club culture has changed in the state over the past few years. Now, we are moving towards the direction of social change & clubs are playing a special role, said Rajya Sabha Rajib Bhattacharjee while addressing in a blood donation camp organized by Ramthakur Sangha on the occasion of its 59th foundation day here in Agartala on Sunday. He stated, "Clubs are now engaging in various social works, practicing yoga, participating in sports, and more.
“Donating blood is an act of solidarity. Join the effort and save lives”. Each unit of blood donated is separated into four major components -platelets, plasma, red blood cells and white blood cells which can be used to save four lives, he said.
MLA Gopal Roy, Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder and others were also present.
