CM Dr. Manik Saha inaugurates Ayushman Arogya Mandir buildings, lays foundation stones for key projects in Sepahijala district

In a significant step toward strengthening healthcare and infrastructure in Tripura, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday virtually inaugurated seven newly constructed Ayushman Arogya Mandir buildings in Sepahijala district. The inauguration was conducted from an event held at Bishalgarh Town Hall.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to comprehensive development across the state, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas. “Infrastructure development is progressing rapidly throughout Tripura. These new Ayushman Arogya Mandir buildings will enhance access to quality healthcare services for people in Sepahijala district,” Dr. Saha said.
In addition to the inaugurations, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stones for five important infrastructure projects in the district: Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Office Building – Estimated cost: Rs 8.10 crore, New Building for Bishalgarh Hospital – Estimated cost: Rs 2.10 crore, Upgradation of the 8-kilometre Road from Bishalgarh to Golaghati – Estimated cost: Rs 11 crore, DCM Quarters in Bishramganj – Estimated cost: Rs 2 crore and SDM Quarters in Bishalgarh – Estimated cost: Rs 83 lakh.
These projects aim to boost administrative efficiency, improve healthcare infrastructure, and enhance road connectivity in the region.
The event witnessed the presence of local leaders, senior government officials, and members of the public, who welcomed the initiatives as a positive step toward regional development.
With a continued focus on healthcare, connectivity, and governance, the Tripura government under Dr. Saha’s leadership is pushing forward with its mission to build a stronger, more resilient state.
