Priyanka Gandhi in Tripura holds roadshow amid giant gathering
Apr 16, 2024Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra held a massive roadshow here at Agartala on Tuesday with the party’s 5-nyay in support of I.N.D.I.A bloc candidate – Ashish Kumar Saha and Rajendra Reang.
A large number of congress and CPI(M) supporters, workers joined the rally which began from Agartala MBB Airport and ended at Agartala Durga Chowmuhni area.
Addressing the crowd, Priyanka Gandhi reiterated Congress’s commitment to delivering “comprehensive justice” to all sections of society.
Gandhi appealed to the people to vote for the INDIA bloc’s candidates in the state’s two Lok Sabha constituencies, stating that their support was required in the fight to save the Constitution and democracy in the country.
She highlighted the party’s 5-Nyay, which includes the promise of creating 30 lakh jobs, ensuring minimum support price (MSP) for farmers, providing an annual subsidy of Rs 1 lakh to women, allocating land to the landless, and offering free education up to the 12th standard for children.
“Huge Roadshow in Tripura West. The people of Tripura have decided that this time a government that guarantees education, health, employment and justice will be formed,” she later posted on her social media handle.
