Biplab, Manik brought prosperity to Tripura in 5 years: Amit Shah
Jan 05, 2023The Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday flagged off the second ‘Jana Biswas’ ratha yatra of the BJP party from Sabroom in South Tripura district and lauded the former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha over the prosperity of the state.
“The state of Tripura secured the third position in the country in implementation of the central schemes during the last five years,” Shah claimed.
Addressing a massive rally at Sabroom on Thursday the union Home Minister said, “The BJP government has brought ‘Adhikar’ in place of ‘Andhkar’, ‘Vikash’ in place of ‘Vinash’, ‘Susashan’ in place of ‘Kusashan’ and ‘Subidha’ in place of ‘Duhida’ during the last five years.”
Underling the five years achievements of the BJP led coalition government in Tripura, Amit Shah said, “The BJP government worked to provide gas cylinders to 2.70 lakh mothers under the PM Modi’s Ujjwala Yojna, 4.25 lakhs houses were connected with drinking water, 3.50 lakh beneficiaries were sanctioned with houses under PM Awas Yojna, Infrastructural works at the cost of Rs. 10,000 is done in Tripura so far, works for over 850 Kms national highways have been started and in addition to this over 12000 students were provided with merit scholarships and 17 Eklavya model schools were built for the Adivasi students in Tripura.”
“It is the BJP government in Tripura which implemented the 7th CPC for the employees of the state under the rule of Biplab Kumar Deb, whereas the communist party in Tripura was stuck with the 5th CPC to deprive the employees,” Shah said, adding that under the rule of CM Dr. Manik Saha, the government has given 12% DA to the employees.
Shah on Thursday slammed the CPI(M) and the Congress party and said, “The communists ruled the state for three decades but did not fix any of the problems. Congress has departed from the country, while Communists have departed from the world.”
He reiterated that the BJP-led government in Tripura has eradicated terrorism and brought about overall prosperity in the northeastern state.
