The win helps the Indian women’s hockey team keep their Paris 2024 Olympics dreams alive. The top three hockey teams from the eight-nation tournament will earn a spot at the Paris 2024 Olympics, which will be held in France in July-August this year. The top two teams from each pool (A and B) will qualify for the semi-finals. India will play bottom-placed Italy in their final FIH Women’s Hockey Olympic Qualifiers 2024 Pool B match on Tuesday while New Zealand will face the USA, who top the table with six points.
