Tripura: Kishor Barman Sworn in as Cabinet Minister

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Kishor Barman was sworn in as a cabinet minister in the Tripura government on Thursday. The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan in Agartala, where Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu administered the oath of office and secrecy.
The ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, members of his council of ministers, senior government officials, and security personnel. With Barman’s induction, the strength of the Tripura cabinet has now increased to 12 members.
Following the swearing-in, Barman expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister and the party's central leadership for entrusting him with the responsibility. He pledged to serve the people of Tripura with sincerity and dedication.
Speaking to the media after the event, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha congratulated the newly appointed minister, saying, “I am confident he will serve the people of Tripura with dedication and integrity.”
The induction of Kishor Barman is being viewed as a significant move aimed at strengthening the state cabinet and reinforcing the government's commitment to development and good governance.
