Health and food safety Awareness Camp held in Agartala
May 20, 2025A health and food safety awareness camp for street vendors was held at Sukanta Academy on Tuesday. Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder, Chief Executive Officer of Agartala Smart City Limited Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav, Deputy Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Monika Das Dutta and others were also present.
Speaking on the occasion Mayor Dipak Majumder said the street food vendors serve food to thousands of people who come to the city for various purposes. If the street vendors are healthy, they are serving healthy food to the public otherwise the situation could be otherwise. So, it is the duty of the street to food vendors to treat health and hygiene as their topmost priorities, he added.
