Women needs to be uplifted for real development: ICA Minister inaugurates Mega Loan Distribution camp
Aug 03, 2022The state Information and Cultural Affairs minister Sushanta Chowdhury inaugurated a mega loan distribution camp at Jirania on Wednesday and said that the government is working to fulfil the aspirations of women and uplift their socio-economic status.
He said, “In order to build a self-reliant Tripura, along with men, women should come forward with equal responsibility. With the slogan of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas, the state government is doing various developmental works. The state government wants to move forward with everyone.”
42 self-help groups were given a loan of Rs. 73 lakh and apart from this, Rs. 18 lakh loan was distributed among 9 people in the loan distribution camp on Wednesday.
