1st Test: New Zealand lead by 134 runs against India on day 2


In Cricket, New Zealand were 180 for 3 in their first innings at stumps against India on the second day of first Test of the three-match series, at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru today. Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell were at the crease when stumps were drawn this evening. For Kiwis, Devon Conway scored 91. New Zealand are leading by 134 runs against the hosts.

Earlier, the Indian team was bundled out for a paltry 46 runs in their first innings. This is the third-lowest Test score for India and also their lowest total in a home Test. For the hosts, Rishabh Pant was the top scorer with 20 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal made 13, while five Indian batters failed to score.
