Manipur Governor says initiatives are being taken up by Centre and State govts to restore peace and normalcy in the State
Sep 21, 2023Governor of Manipur Sushri Anusuiya Uikey graced the International Hindi Conference held in commemoration of the 115th Birth Anniversary of the renowned national poet late Ramdhari Singh Dinkar on Wednesday at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
Addressing the gathering, the Manipur Governor highlighted the present situation of Manipur and the continued efforts for relief and rehabilitation for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) who have been taking refuge in various relief camps in the State since the ethnic clash started on the 3rd of May. She also said that the initiatives are being taken up by the Centre and State governments to restore peace and normalcy in Manipur.
A postage stamp was also issued in the memory of late Ramdhari Singh Dinkar in today's event.
