Tripura to host Destination Tripura – Business Conclave 2025 at Agartala

Aiming to attract at least Rs 600 crore investment in the IT, health, Education and other key sectors, the North Eastern states of Tripura is set to host the Destination Tripura – Business Conclave 2025 here at Agartala for two days starting from Friday.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha will inaugurate the conclave, said the state industry and commerce minister Santana Chakma here at Agartala on Thursday.
Addressing a press conference the minister said that the business conclave is aimed to showcase Tripura as a key investment hub in North-East India. The conclave will focus on critical sectors including information technology, healthcare, education, tourism, and skill development. It is designed to promote investment opportunities, boost local industries, generate employment, and highlight the state’s natural resources and industry-friendly policies, she told reporters.
She said that the conclave would provide a strategic platform for investors to engage with policymakers, thereby fostering industrial growth and self-reliance among the youth.
"Earlier, we organised agar and rubber conclaves to attract investment in the manufacturing sector in the northeastern state," she said, adding that investors, who are going to attend the business conclave, will hold discussions with government officials to know the investment prospects and other related issues on the first day on February 7.
