92 appointment letters handed over to new recruits in Guwahati


Union Minister for Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Ayush, Sarbananda Sonowal handed over the appointment letters to the newly inducted candidates at the 9th 'Rozgar Mela’ in Guwahati today.

said that during the last nine years, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi took several bold initiatives for the empowerment of the youths.
 

Mr. Sonowal said that due to decisive and bold decisions of our Prime Minister, the youths are now reaping the benefits of economic developments. We are now the 5th largest economy but our target is to become one of the three most developed nation within 2030, added the Union Minister. 

The Union Minister urged the newly appointees to work honestly and sincerely for the development of the country as youths are the strongest force and they can only make India atmanirbhar.

‘Rozgar Mela’ is an initiative undertaken by the Union government, as directed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, towards the recruitment process for filling up vacancies at various central government departments.

As a part of the mission, new candidates were offered appointment letters at various locations in the country and the candidates selected were also addressed by the Prime Minister through virtual mode nationwide.

In this 9th 'Rozgar Mela' vacancies were filled today through new appointments of the targeted 10 lakhs jobs.


Today, 192 appointment letters were handed over to the new recruits in Guwahati in the Departments of Income Tax, Post,  CGST, Telecom, AIIMS Guwahati, FCI , SBI, Bank Of Baroda,  Punjab National Bank, Oil India Limited and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
