Sikkim: CM PS Tamang flags off Seema Darshan under Vibrant Villages Programme
Aug 30, 2023Sikkim chief minister PS Tamang flagged off Seema Darshan under the Vibrant Villages Programme from Gangtok on 30th August 2023. Under the initiative, around 50 college and university students are visiting the Indo-China Nathu La border to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with personnel from the Indian Army and ITBP. The students will also interact with public of Tsomgo, which has been identified for development as a vibrant village.
Speaking to mediapersons, Mr Tamang said, Sikkim will benefit from the development of villages along the state’s borders with China, Nepal and Bhutan. He also shared Raksha Bandhan greetings.
