Manipur: Two killed, 80 injured in firing incident in Kakching
Sep 09, 2023In Manipur, two persons succumbed to bullet injury while more than 80 people including women sustained injury in a firing incident that took place at Pallel area in Kakching district on Friday.
The Police report said that the firing took place between State forces and armed miscreants. The armed miscreants fired indiscriminately toward Pallel area and one person succumbed to bullet injuries. Another person died on the spot in the cross-firing. A large number of people tried to rush toward the incident and security forces stopped them. Around 80 people sustained injuries in the scuffle and they were hospitalized.
