Govt working with transparency says CM Dr. Manik Saha

Tripura government is committed to provide better services to the people by maintain the transparency, said Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha while addressing in the closing ceremony of State level Swachhta Hi Seva 2024 campaign at Rabindra Bhawan on Wednesday. The Swachhata Hi Seva campaign was started from 17th September to 01 October, 2024 with the powerful theme of 'Swabhav Swachhata-Sanskaar Swachhata'.
On October 2, the birthday of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi, this campaign comes to an end. The Chief Minister said that it is necessary to develop the habit of transparency in daily life. It is our responsibility as healthy conscious citizens to maintain personal hygiene habits in schools, colleges, offices, residences, neighbourhoods, roads, markets, bus stands and everywhere. The Chief Minister also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called for Swachh Bharat in 2014. Responding to the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, people of all professions participated in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Women self-help groups have also been involved in the transparency program in the state.
A video with music on transparency was shown at the event. Pledge on transparency was also recited on the occasion. On the occasion, awards were given in various fields for excellence in transparency programmes.
