Indian Men’s Badminton Team Faces Indonesia in Thomas Cup Quarter-Finals
May 01, 2024In Badminton, Indian men’s team is facing Indonesia in the quarter-finals of the Thomas Cup in Chengdu, China. The match between the duo of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty against Muhammad Shohibul Fikri and Bagas Maulana is underway.
In the first group match, H S Prannoy defeated Anthony Sinisuka Ginting 13-21, 21-12, 21-12 to give India 1-0 lead.
Todays result will decide who finishes as group topper.
The team includes HS Prannoy, Lakshya Sen, Kidambi Srikanth, Priyanshu Rajawat and Kiran George, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy, Chirag Shetty, MR Arjun, Dhruv Kapila and Sai Pratheek.
The Indian men’s team are the defending champions and are paired against the likes of Indonesia, Thailand and England.
