Two arrested in connection with double female body found in Dumboor lake
Nov 21, 2023Police on Tuesday arrested two accused including on male and one female for their alleged involvement in the double female body found in Dumboor lake few days back.
Talking to our correspondent SDPO of Amarpur Debanjali Roy said that a hunt was on to arrest the accused involved in the double female body found in Dumboor lake. For the past few days we were trying to arrest the accused and finally today we managed to arrest two accused including on male and one female from Raishyabari area.
Both the accused were brought to Birganj Police Station for interrogation. But suddenly family members of the accused persons attacked and tried to the broke the gate of Birganj Police Station. As the situation was getting out of control we had to use 7 to 8 rounds of tear gas to disperse the crowd, the SDPO said.
Both the accused will be produced before the court on Wednesday, She added.
