Mimi Majumder says Tripura Budget 2025-26 way for overall development

The Tripura Pradesh Mahila Morcha president and former MLA Mimi Majumder on Saturday lauded the budget for the financial year 2025-26 and said it will further accelerate Tripura’s economic growth, paving the way for overall development.
Addressing in a organizational meeting organized by 35 Belonia Mondal at Agniveena Community Hall, Belonia College on Saturday, Tripura Pradesh Mahila Morcha president and former MLA Mimi Majumder said that “the budget for the financial year 2025-26 is much more than the budgets presented during the CPI-M era. A budget of Rs 27,804.67 crore was presented for the financial year 2024-25, whereas the new budget stands at Rs 32,423.44 crore, which is an increase of nearly 20% compared to the previous year, this shows the commitment of the government towards the development of the State, she added.
The government led by PM Modi is deeply committed to women empowerment in all walks of life. "Today, women have become an integral part of India's security and defence architecture. The targeted outcome of such an empowerment is to create an atmosphere where women feel free, safe and secure to pursue any vocation, profession or take a road less taken," She added.
All the members of 35 Belonia Mondal were also present in the organizational meeting.
