Autumn session of Assam assembly to begin on Monday
Sep 10, 2023The autumn session of the Assam assembly will begin on 11th September 2023 at Dispur. The five-day long sessions will be held in the newly constructed building.
State Parliamentary Affairs minister Pijush Hazarika urged opposition parties to cooperate to peacefully run the session. Meanwhile, the opposition is likely to corner the government on multiple issues including recent eviction drive at Silsako, price rise, disrupted power supply in the state.
