‘Sab Padhke Aage Badho’ – Prez Murmu appeals to Tripura tea garden workers


President Droupadi Murmu, who visited here in the state for two days to inaugurate slew of government projects and others on Wednesday appealed to the tea garden workers of the state to send their children to school and stated, “sab padhke aage badho” (everyone study and progress). President Murmu visited the Central Tea Processing Factory at Durgabari Tea Estate, and interacted with the tea garden workers and authorities on Wednesday.

She also appealed to the MLAs to stand with the tea garden workers in need and later enquired if the Chief Minister and other legislators are working to enhance the livelihood of the workers. The President also did a photo session with the children of the tea garden workers. The president on her maiden visit to the state on Wednesday also inaugurated the newly-built Tripura State Judicial Academy and unveiled the model of National Law University’s Tripura campus at Narsingarh in Agartala.
