Former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly will land here at Agartala on December 11 to sign an agreement with the Tripura Tourism Development Corporation Ltd (TTDCL) as brand ambassador of Tripura Tourism and shoot promotional videos in the state, said tourism minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Sunday.

Addressing a press conference here at Agartala Geetanjali Guest House, Chowdhury said that the former BCCI president Sourav Ganguly will visit the Ujjayanta Palace soon after landing at Agartala MBB airport and he will sign an official agreement with the Tripura Tourism for becoming a brand ambassador.

Ganguly will meet Chief Minister Manik Saha at his official residence and shoot promotional videos at Chhabimura, a rock sculpture on the banks of the Gomti River, and the iconic Ujjayanta Palace, a symbol of the Manikya dynasty, on Tuesday, he told reporters.
