CM Dr. Manik Saha inaugurates 3-day long Diwali fest in Udaipur Tripura Sundari temple
Nov 13, 2023Tripura government has prepared a master plan to promote Udaipur's Tripura Sundari temple in Gomati district of the state at national level, said Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Sunday.
Addressing a three day long Diwali festival in the premise of the Tripura Sundari temple at Udaipur, the Chief Minister said that once the undergoing renovation work is completed the Tripura Sundari temple will attract more visitors from the start and abroad.
He said that the Tripura Sundari temple has already gained popularity as one of the significant religious tourist destinations in the nation's map, where the tourists across the globe have put their footprints.
He said that the renovated Tripura Sundari temple will not only attract devotees from different parts of the globe but also create huge employment opportunities for the local people.
A lot of new private infrastructure, like hotels and eateries are coming up here in the area centering the Tripura Sundari temple, Dr. Saha, adding that these new business enterprises will bolster the local economy.
