One drug peddler arrested in Tripura
Feb 17, 2024Tripura Police arrested one drug peddler and seized 573 Yaba Tablets at Sonamura under Sonamura Police Station on Saturday.
The police stated that they received a crucial tip-off regarding one drug peddler, on the basis of the tip-off a police personnel from Sonamura Police Station laid a trap near Sonamura playing field and seized a vehicle bearing number TR01 BX 0411 and arrested the vehicle driver. During the search police found 573 Yaba Tablets from the possession of the driver identified as Raju Namo.
The accused driver was booked under relevant sections of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
