PM Modi to spearhead election campaign in Secunderabad ; BJP to release manifesto in Madhya Pradesh
Nov 11, 2023Campaigning for the Assembly Elections is gaining momentum in the four poll-bound states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Telangana.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing a public meeting at parade grounds in Secunderabad this evening. He will address the Oppressed Classes Viswaroopa Sabha, organised by BJP and Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS). It is the second visit of the Prime Minister in a span of just three days. He addressed the BC Atmagourava Sabha held at LB Stadium on the 7th of this month.
Meanwhile, the electioneering is gaining momentum with several top leaders of different parties taking part in the campaigning across the State. PCC President Revanth Reddy is addressing an election rally at Bellampally while BRS is holding a State Girijana Athmiya Sabha at Shamirpet to garner support of tribals.
In Madhya Pradesh, Bharatiya Janata Party will release its manifesto Sankalp-Patra’for the State Assembly elections today. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also address public meetings in the Dhar and Indore districts today. On the other hand, former Chief Ministers Kamal Nath and Digvijay Singh will take command of the campaign in support of Congress candidates.
At the same time, leaders of the Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, Aam Aadmi Party and Gondwana Gantantara Party have also put their full strength in the campaign.
In Chhattisgarh, preparations for peaceful and fair Polling for 70 seats in the second phase of Assembly elections to be held on the 17th of November are in the final stages. Election Commission's observers district police officers are taking stock of the Polling preparations in various Assembly constituencies of the State.
Meanwhile, in Korba district, notices have been issued to about 1500 employees on charges of negligence in election work. Deputy District Election Officer Seema Patre said that the Election Commission of India has deployed officers and employees of various departments for the election work.
In Rajasthan, 80 political parties including BJP and Congress are in the fray of the State Assembly elections.
Counting of votes in all five states will be taken up on 3rd of December.
