Tripura will become an educational hub in coming days: CM Manik Saha
Dec 30, 2022Tripura will become an educational hub in the coming future and the BJP-led government in the state had been making all efforts to upgrade education infrastructure said Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha while addressing in the inaugural ceremony of Jirania Law College at Jirania here on Friday.
The government also has plans to set up a University in North Tripura. Knowledge is the main key to become successful in life. We need to develop forward looking, responsive, world class educational institutions for the students. We have to work to ensure access, inclusivity, equitability, affordability and quality in education, Dr. Manik Saha added.
The CM said "we must bring in a transformative education system rooted in Indian values, thoughts and sense of service".
CM Dr. Manik Saha also lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts and said that there is a huge emphasis on the educational sector by the Central government.
Law minister Ratan Lal Nath, Information and Cultural Affairs minister Sushanta Chowdhury and others were present in the inaugural ceremony.
