The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has cleared more than 23,000 promotions over the past 12 years, Union Minister for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Dr Jitendra Singh said.
The Minister made the statement while interacting with a delegation of the Central Secretariat Group-C Employees’ Association.
Dr Singh said the government is committed to providing a work-friendly environment for its employees to keep them motivated and enable them to discharge their responsibilities effectively.
He also stressed the importance of feedback from employees on service and cadre-related matters, saying such inputs should continue to be brought before the concerned authorities.
Members of the association thanked the Minister for regularly interacting with employees and listening to their concerns and suggestions.
