Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday extended birthday greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 76th birthday, praising his contribution to strengthening the “Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership” between India and Russia.
The Russian Embassy in India shared Putin’s message on Instagram, in which the Russian President thanked Modi for the warm welcome and hospitality extended during his recent visit to New Delhi for the 18th BRICS Summit.
Putin described his talks with Modi during the visit as “substantive, frank and productive.” He also expressed his readiness to continue close cooperation with India on bilateral and international issues.
The message underscored the continued importance of the longstanding strategic relationship between New Delhi and Moscow.
