CM Manik Saha Calls for Unity to ‘Reclaim’ Barjala in 2028
Sep 06, 2026
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Sunday said the BJP’s politics is centred on fulfilling people’s aspirations, improving their quality of life and standing by the common people, rather than pursuing politics for its own sake.
Addressing a massive public meeting organised by the BJP’s 4-Barjala Mandal, Saha said bringing smiles to the faces of ordinary people was the “greatest politics” and emphasised that the party’s focus remained on development and public welfare.
Highlighting the performance of the BJP-led “double-engine” government, the Chief Minister urged party workers to take the government’s development record to every section of society and create awareness about what he termed “misinformation and politics of confusion.”
Saha also made a strong political appeal ahead of the 2028 Assembly elections, saying the “mistake of 2023” must not be repeated in Barjala. He called upon party workers and supporters to remain united to “reclaim Barjala” in the interests of development, peace and progress.
The Chief Minister said the massive gathering reflected the party’s resolve to strengthen its presence in Barjala and carry the message of development to the people.
