Minister Tinku Roy Inspects Manu River Embankment in Kailashahar

Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Social Welfare and Social Education, and Labour Tinku Roy on Friday inspected the Manu River embankment in the Latiapura Gram Panchayat area of Kailashahar to assess its condition and identify vulnerable stretches.
During the inspection, Roy reviewed areas prone to riverbank erosion and other potential risks, while also assessing the safety concerns of local residents. He held discussions with concerned officials on strengthening the embankment and carrying out necessary repair and preventive works on a priority basis.
The minister stressed that public safety and the protection of the embankment must be given the highest priority, and called for timely completion of the required measures.
