Mayor Reviews Agartala Traffic Plan Ahead of Durga Puja

Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder on Thursday inspected the old motor stand area to review measures aimed at easing traffic congestion and improving the city’s traffic management ahead of Durga Puja.
Highlighting the need for a more organised and congestion-free Agartala during the festive season, Majumder said the initiative was being undertaken in line with Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha’s vision of ensuring smoother movement for commuters and visitors.
During the inspection, the Mayor held detailed discussions with concerned officials on traffic regulation, improving road management and ensuring greater convenience for the public.
AMC Commissioner Saju Wahid, Corporator Ratna Dutta, municipal officials and representatives of the Traffic Department accompanied the Mayor during the visit.
